Easter Shopping Madness

I don't know about where you are, but here in NZ we have some great Easter sales...usually, I stay WAY away but as my clothes have now started to fall off...I mean HELLO...I would say that when your underwear falls down to your ankles in the middle of a busy shopping center...ITS TIME TO GET SOME NEW CLOTHES...not a good look...but you will be so proud of me, without blinking an eyelid I simply stepped out of them and promptly walked calmly to my car and never looked back...there is NO way I was going to turn around and make eye contact with anyone who may have seen and I guess I will have to find another shopping centre to shop at... after all, I don't want to run the risk of anyone coming up to me and saying "Excuse me...I think you left your panties behind!" and holding up my 'nanna parachutes' for everyone to see!

So today I braved the mad sales...and I decided to be adventurous...instead of taking clothes into the dressing room that were my size I started taking clothes in that were two sizes smaller than what I actually thought I was...OK...so I started with the smallest of the sizes (14US). True, I barely got my legs in the trousers and do you think I could yank them up over my voluptuous hips...believe me I tried! I pulled, I yanked, I wriggled, I jumped up and down I even crossed one leg over the other to narrow my hips (my mother's tip)...but the darned pants wouldn't budge...You would think that was bad and humiliating enough...but you should have seen the faces of the other women in the dressing room...oh the scorn...they were looking at me, like, I had NO right to be wearing clothes at ALL with a body like mine...determined, I continued...Its a pity really, cause maybe then, I wouldn't have had to buy the pants...with a huge split in the butt seam...After I decided I didn't really like them at all...

But there is good news today...the next size up (a size lower than what I thought I was)...actually fitted perfectly...so I am now officially a size 16US. Happy Easter for Me!
